 Open Access Publishing (OAP) Polo Publishing operates within the Open Access Publishing (OAP) forum and aims to freely promote universal access with equal opportunities for all scientific, technical and engineered knowledge with the creation and dissemination via peer-reviewed publishing. The OAP encourages initiatives to facilitate access, including free and affordable access, to publicly available journals and books, open archives and repositories for scientific knowledge. The OAP, in terms of equitable access allows scientific knowledge to strive and promote electronic publishing, open access initiatives and make scientific data and information affordable and accessible in all countries on an equitable basis.
Memberships of academic and scientific research organisations and institutions can be viewed within the International Directory for Open Access Publishing. The OAP list expands across Africa, Australia, Europe, Asia and North America; it offers and encourages a wide range of public knowledge and aims to be comprehensive and cover all open access scientific and scholarly journals that use an appropriate quality control system, and it will not be limited to particular languages or subject areas. The aim of the Directory is to increase the visibility and ease of use of OAP journals thereby promoting their increased usage and impact. All articles on this website are freely available via the internet. Polo Publishing is also the Polo Centre of Sustainability's agreed publishing partner and attends to the publication of the two international journals indexed within the Italian Biblioteca Centrale "G.
